The Portrait Session

Whether we’re working with horses, dogs, humans (or all of the above) the process of the portrait session is nearly the same. Learn about the steps involved here!

    Step 2

    At this point, Samantha will send you an in-depth questionnaire to gather all the important information. We’ll also discuss locations, timings, as well as dates, and end goals here before moving on to…

    Step 3

    Creation. At this point, the creation begins! We have our session and make some magic - sessions are fun, relaxed and just as memorable as the images themselves!

    Within creation is also the retouching and post-production where each image is carefully treated to my exclusive post-production process resulting in gorgeous images you’re going to love!

    At the end of the creation, we’ll then move into…

    Step 4

    The Reveal. (Easily the most exciting part of the process.) After patiently (or not so patiently!) waiting, you’ll receive an online gallery of fully edited images to reveal the artwork.

    You will have the opportunity to pick your favourites and order products. Deciding which images to order can be tough, so I’m always happy to make suggestions and provide guidance.

    Step 5

    If you order digital images, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to download your images straight to your inbox.

    If you order physical artwork, the artwork order is passed to my printing partners within North America where they are meticulously created based on your request.

    Your artwork is then packaged and delivered with great care to your door.

    The Gallery Frame

    The Framed Canvas
